Royal Navy Armaments Depots (RNAD) were strategically important facilities across the UK, responsible for the storage and supply of armaments to the Royal Navy and other British and Commonwealth armed forces. Typically comprising multiple underground magazines, these depots were often rail-served by the national network and featured extensive internal narrow gauge railway systems to move materials between magazines, workshops, and exchange sidings.

These narrow gauge railways operated specialised fleets of locomotives and rolling stock designed specifically for demanding industrial and military duties. Although some RNAD railways continued operating into the early 21st century, closures eventually rendered much of the stock redundant, with many vehicles later entering preservation.
