Known for his good humour, Rheneas keeps the engines at the Blue Mountain Quarry smiling. When the railway was in danger of closing, it was Rheneas’ bravery that saved the line and brought his passengers home safely—earning him the nickname “The Gallant Old Engine.”

Rheneas is based on a Fletcher, Jennings & Co. 0-4-0ST narrow gauge steam locomotive. Bachmann has carefully reproduced this popular Thomas & Friends™ character in miniature, maintaining excellent proportions and character detail.
