Auscision X35 – V/Line Orange & Grey – DCC Non Sound – Lightly Weathered
Auscision X35 – V/Line Orange & Grey – DCC Non Sound – Lightly Weathered
Available now is this Auscision X35 finished in the classic V/Line orange and grey livery. This model represents the version fitted with VC dimples on the cab roof and modified exhaust stacks, making it a great addition for anyone modelling modern Victorian operations.
This example is in good condition and has been lightly weathered, giving it a realistic in-service appearance. It is fitted with DCC non-sound, with the DCC number reset to 3, and is ready to run. Please note this model is unboxed. But will come with a Roundhouse models single locomoitve box.
Important note: the handrail on one side has come loose. Aside from this, the locomotive presents well and would make a strong addition to a layout or collection.
Features include a ready-to-run ABS plastic body, heavy diecast chassis, blackened metal disc wheels (RP25-110), scale-sized metal knuckle couplers, highly detailed underframe, and separately applied metal parts. The model also includes metal and plastic handrails and brake piping, highly detailed bogies with separate applied parts and bogie printing, and factory painted and decorated finish.
Mechanically, the locomotive is fitted with a 5-pole skew wound motor with twin brass flywheels, all wheel drive and electrical pickup, and is designed to operate on Code 70, 83 and 100 rail, with an 18" recommended minimum radius.
Additional detailing includes a detailed cab with driver figures, metal etched mirrors and windscreen wipers, see-through metal etched grilles, brass horns, and separately applied air hoses and MU cables. Lighting features include operating LED headlights and marker lights with a manual override switch.
A nicely detailed and great-looking example of Auscision’s X class, ideal for collectors and operators alike.
