Oxford Diecast Ford Transit Mk1 White
Oxford Diecast Ford Transit Mk1 White
Add one of Britain’s most recognisable commercial vehicles to your collection with the Oxford Diecast Ford Transit Mk1, finished in classic white.
Introduced in 1965, the Ford Transit Mk1 was developed as the successor to the Ford Thames 400E and quickly became a popular choice for businesses, tradespeople, delivery companies and fleet operators. Production of the original Mk1 continued until 1978, when the updated Mk2 Transit was introduced.
This detailed 1:76 scale model represents a 1966 Ford Transit registered GYH 194D. Finished in white, it perfectly captures the appearance of the classic British “white van” and features the long-wheelbase body, widened wheel arches and double rear cargo doors found on the full-size vehicle.
Fine detailing includes black window surrounds, radiator grille, chassis and interior, along with a black steering wheel. The white wheels are finished with silver hubcaps, while additional silver detailing has been applied to the door handles and bonnet-mounted wing mirrors. Chrome-finished bumpers complete the period appearance.
The model is ideal for OO scale railway layouts, 1960s and 1970s street scenes, station yards, industrial areas, construction sites, delivery depots and classic commercial vehicle collections.
