Product Description
This classic Morris Minor Traveller from Oxford Diecast represents the much-loved wood-framed estate version of one of Britain’s most iconic cars. Finished in maroon, the model captures the charm and practicality that made the Traveller a firm favourite with families and tradespeople alike.
The Morris Minor was first launched at the Earls Court Motor Show in London on 20 September 1948, originally known during development as the Morris Mosquito. Early production included the two-door saloon and tourer, with the four-door saloon following in 1950. The Traveller, along with panel van and pick-up variants, was introduced in 1952 as part of the Series II upgrades.
Thanks to its practicality and distinctive timber framing, the Traveller proved exceptionally popular and remained in production until 1971, outlasting the saloon by a full year.
