Product Description

This New Land Rover Defender 90 from Oxford Diecast represents the modern re-imagining of the iconic Defender, first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2019. While manufactured in Slovakia, the vehicle was designed in the UK under the direction of Gerry McGovern at Jaguar Land Rover.

Unlike its predecessors, the New Defender shares no components or technology with earlier models. It features a modern aluminium unibody construction, permanent all-wheel drive, locking differentials, and a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, engineered to meet global vehicle regulations.

The Defender 90 is the three-door, short wheelbase variant. Although positioned as a slightly lower specification than some other Defender models, it still delivers impressive performance, with a top speed of 109 mph, 0–60 mph in 9.6 seconds, and power provided by a 196 bhp 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, with a petrol hybrid option also available.

This is the third Oxford Diecast release of the Defender 90 and is finished in Gondwana Stone, one of the authentic factory colour schemes. Registered 143 UYP, the model features a dark gold body with a black roof, predominantly black exterior trim, black interior, and contrasting details on the wheels, rear number plate housing, and lower front grille.
