PECO SL-E496 Left-Hand Mainline Electrofrog Turnout – OO-9 Code 80
PECO SL-E496 Left-Hand Mainline Electrofrog Turnout – OO-9 Code 80
Build reliable and realistic narrow-gauge trackwork with the PECO SL-E496 Left-Hand Mainline Electrofrog Turnout from the Streamline OO-9 Code 80 range.
Designed for narrow-gauge models built to either OO scale at 4 mm to the foot or HO scale at 3.5 mm to the foot, this turnout operates on standard 9 mm gauge track. The mainline-style sleeper spacing represents narrow-gauge railways constructed to a higher standard, making it suitable for passenger lines, preserved railways, station areas and heavily used industrial systems.
The SL-E496 features a medium-radius left-hand curve, providing a smoother and more realistic route through the turnout than tighter-radius trackwork. Its live Electrofrog design improves electrical continuity through the crossing area, making it particularly useful for short-wheelbase locomotives and slow-speed operation.
This turnout is compatible with the PECO OO-9 Setrack rigid track system and other PECO Code 80 track components.
