The Blunami BLU-21PNEM8 is a powerful 1-amp Tsunami2-based DCC sound decoder featuring Bluetooth control and a 21-pin NEM connector for simple plug-and-play installation.

Designed for locomotives equipped with a 21-pin socket, this decoder delivers industry-leading sound quality and realism. With Reactive Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE), locomotive and train brakes, injectors, power reverse, firebox flicker, and more, you’ll feel like you’re right in the cab.

This version includes the EMD diesel sound profile, offering selectable prime movers and airhorns to match a wide range of EMD prototypes.

Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE)

Blunami’s Reactive Dynamic Digital Exhaust automatically adjusts engine sound based on motor load. When climbing grades, the exhaust and prime mover respond realistically to increased throttle demand—delivering one of the most immersive sound experiences available.
