Available now is this HO scale VR K Class locomotive, K190, presented in its preserved 1980s condition and featuring the distinctive combination of plate cowcatcher, Boxpok wheels, and welded tender. A great example of one of Victoria’s most recognisable steam locomotives, this model would make an excellent addition to any Victorian steam collection or operating fleet.

This model is in great condition and comes with all original packaging, with no known issues.

Built as a highly detailed ready-to-run HO gauge model, it features a diecast boiler, frame and footplate for excellent weight and strong running performance. Detail levels are enhanced with separately applied boiler details, while a genuine Kadee scale head whisker coupler is fitted to the tender.

The model is also equipped with working LED lights and comes standard with an MTC 21-pin motherboard. This example is a DCC version fitted with a LokSound V5 decoder, offering excellent sound and running capability straight out of the box. A Keep Alive circuit is also fitted to improve performance over pointwork and less-than-perfect track.

With a 22-inch minimum radius, this is a high-quality and nicely presented model of preserved K190, ideal for collectors and operators alike.
