The Dinorwic Quarry was once the world’s second largest slate quarry, with extensive narrow gauge railways used to move slate and materials around the site. These flat bed wagons were used to carry slabs of slate from the rock face to dressing and finishing buildings, as well as other large or bulky items around the quarry.

Each wagon is fitted with metal wheels and NEM coupling pockets, and the pack includes both standard OO9 couplings and alternative hook and loop couplings for a more discreet appearance within a train.
